Dear Friend,

As you know, I have been teaching the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program and teaching professionals as adjunct faculty of the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness for the past 17 years. A couple of years ago I took the Eight-Week Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) class created by my friends Chris Germer and Kristin Neff at the HeartWell Institute in Worcester, MA.  It transformed my life in extraordinary ways. This MSC class is now available on-line! When Chris asked me to share this newly created course with my friends I was totally on-board. Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to bring more kindness, compassion, and happiness to your life!!!

When we see a friend or even a stranger in crisis or pain, most of us are pretty good at extending our compassion. But when we ourselves are suffering, too often we neglect to give the same kindness to ourselves. For over a decade, Chris Germer, PhD, and Kristin Neff, PhD have been at the forefront of research into self-compassion, investigating its many dimensions, benefits, and ways to strengthen it.

The good news is that anyone can learn to access this inner ally.
